At the headquarter of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona, the Architect Studio of Roberto Ercilla designed a building destined to library with rationalist plant.
The building is characterized by a combination of volumes, blind and transparent, completely faced with a "terracotta skin", focused by the great attention to the energy saving.
The building looks as a brick-faced complex, where the Architect foresaw, with great skill, two elements by Sannini: Piastra Litos as covering of blind walls and Doga Litos/Arrotato for those glass walls in term to mitigate the sun shining.
